With a new Tensor chip, advanced cameras, and bucketloads of smart ML-based features, these are the best Android phones Google has ever made. Sadly, these Pixel 6 models aren’t coming to India anytime soon and Google has now stated the reasons behind that. In a statement to Gadgets360, a Google spokesperson has clarified the reason behind Google’s withdrawal of the Pixel 6 series from India. “Due to a variety of factors including global demand supply issues, we are not able to make our products available in all markets. We remain committed to our current Pixel phones and look forward to bringing future Pixel devices to more countries in the future,” the spokesperson said. Google had, however, stopped launching its flagship Pixel phones in India since the Pixel 4 in 2019. Google Pixel 6 phones have 3 amazing features - Magic Eraser, Wait Times and Direct My Call, plus Quick Tap to Snap. Google had, however, stopped launching its flagship Pixel phones in India since the Pixel 4 in 2019. |#+| The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL were the last Google flagships to come to India, following which Google committed itself to the affordable A series models. The Pixel 3a series and Pixel 4a launched within a few months of their global debut. However, Google did not bring the Pixel 5a 5G to India this year. It isn’t a secret that demand for Google Pixel devices in India has been extremely low. Google’s Pixel devices are considered by many as too expensive for what they offer, especially when compared to the competition from the Chinese manufacturers. The Pixel 4a despite having a potent camera sees fewer takers than Apple’s iPhone SE 2020, which offers better specs at similar prices. However, Google hasn’t denied launching future Pixel devices in India. The Pixel 6 marks a new era for Google where it manufactures both the chip and software. Future iterations could benefit highly in imparting a polished user experience and even smarter features. The Pixel 6 starts at $599 in the US while the Pixel 6 Pro with its triple cameras and a bigger battery starts at $899.
