Poco M3 budget smartphone launched, check key specs, features, and price

Poco has officially launched a new budget smartphone. Called Poco M3, it comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, 6,000mAh battery, and 48-megapixel triple-rear camera. Check full specifications and features of the phone here.

Poco M3 launched (Poco)

Poco M3 is now official. The smartphone is available for a starting price of $149 ( ₹11,000 approximately) for the 4GB/64GB model. The top-end model with 4GB/128GB configuration is priced at $169 ( ₹12,500 approximately). The phone comes in blue, yellow, and black colour options. As of now, there is no word on when the phone will come to India, but we can expect it to be available here sooner than later.

As seen in leaked renders, Poco M3 looks quite different from the rest of the budget Android smartphones in this price category. It is mainly because of the wider camera array on the back panel that houses camera sensors, LED flash, and big Poco branding. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The front houses a dot drop display.

Specifications

Poco M3 comes with a 6.53-inch full HD+ display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and 90.3% screen-to-body ratio. The phone also has Widevine L1 certification.

For performance, Poco M3 runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB built-in storage. A 6,000mAh battery powers the phone. It is also coupled with support for 18W fast charging. The phone ships with a 22.5W fast charger in-the-box.

In the camera department, Poco M3 has three sensors on the back. The setup has a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 2-megapixel macro sensor, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel sensor.

On the software front, it runs on MIUI 12 for Poco, based on Android 10.

Other important features of the phone are dual speakers with Hi-Res Audio certification, expandable storage up to 512GB via a microSD card, IR Blaster, 3.5mm headphone jack, FM Radio, and USB Type-C.
