Poco tipped to launch first 5G phone in India soon
It's expected to be the Poco M3 Pro which could be a rebranded Redmi Note 10 5G.
Poco is expected to launch its first 5G smartphone in India soon. A new Poco smartphone which is said to be Poco M3 Pro, has been spotted on the BIS website. Poco M3 Pro has also been spotted on the FCC website which reveals some specifications of the smartphone. It is also expected to launch as a rebranded version of Redmi Note 10 5G in India.
Poco is yet to officially tease or announce the launch of its new 5G phone but there are already reports around the phone. According to a report by My Smart Price, the model number for Poco M3 Pro is the same as the Redmi Note 10 5G that launched globally last month. It won't be surprising if Poco does bring a rebranded Redmi phone to India as it's done so previously. The BIS certification also indicates an imminent launch for the Poco M3 Pro.
Going by this speculation, Poco M3 Pro will feature a 6.5-inch full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The smartphone will feature a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. It will also house an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies. Poco M3 Pro would also pack a 5,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support. On the software front, Poco M3 Pro will run MIUI 12 out-of-the-box.
