Poco will soon launch a new smartphone. The company has not disclosed an official launch date yet but has begun posting teasers on its social media handles. Here is what is officially known about the next Poco smartphone.

Poco's Product Manager and global spokesperson Angus Kai Ho Ng has confirmed the upcoming Poco X3 will sport a 64-megapixel camera. He also posted a few camera samples from the phone. In one of the images, the phone is seen supporting the 64-megapixel camera in the Pro mode.

In another tweet, Ng promised a “massive battery” with “blazing fast charging speed” with the new phone. In a tweet, he compared the phone with Samsung's Galaxy A71. The comparison shows Poco X3 reached 100% charge in 65 minutes whereas Samsung Galaxy A71 accomplished the same in 80 minutes.

Separately, Poco X3 made an early appearance on the FCC certification website. The listing revealed the phone will feature a 5,160mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The phone is said to come with 120Hz refresh rate and a 64-megapixel AI Super Camera.

Poco X3 will succeed the Poco X2 which is currently available for a starting price of ₹17,499. The phone comes with a 6.67-inch full HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 730G processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.

Poco X2 also has four rear cameras including 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has dual selfie cameras with a 20-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensor.

The smartphone is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 27W fast charging.
