Ready for Moto G42? Motorola to also launch Moto G62 5G and another flagship soon

Moto G62 5G and another Motorola flagship are coming to India soon after the Moto G42 launch. Here are all the details.

Motorola is just days away from launching its Moto G42 in India and if you assumed that was enough, there's more of Motorola coming our way. Based on some new leaks it is said that the Moto G62 5G from the global markets, and a new Motorola flagship are coming to India soon. No details on this flagship but it could be the rumoured Motorola Frontier with that bonkers 200MP rear camera. Motorola is yet to announce anything officially on this front.

The Moto G62 5G is an affordable 5G smartphone that should be among the more affordable 5G smartphones from Motorola's lineup. The phone could most likely be the Moto G51 5G, which has been around for a while as one of the more affordable 5G smartphones you can buy today. The phone is already available in Brazil. The leaked info comes from tipster Mukul Sharma.

Moto G62 and new flagship coming soon

The Moto G62 5G is a rather simple smartphone with basic specifications for an affordable 5G smartphone. The phone features a 6.5-inch full HD+ IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. This could be the same display as the Moto G52 5G. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 480 Plus chip along with 4GB of RAM, which is again the same setup as the Moto G51 5G. As for the cameras, the Moto G62 5G gets a triple rear camera setup that holds a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 lens, 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calls, the Moto G62 5G offers a 16MP selfie camera.

The Moto G62 5G comes with a 5000mAh battery that supports 20W TurboPower fast charging via a USB-C port.

On the other hand, the flagship model could be the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra that is rumoured to feature the newer Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, and a 6.67-inch POLED curved edge display. The phone could also bring a 125W fast wired charging solution and a 200MP main rear camera. This phone could take on the iPhone 13 as well as the upcoming iPhone 14, the new Samsung Galaxy S22 series, and more.
