Realme C15, C12 with 6,000mAh battery to launch in India today

Realme C15 and C12 are expected to be the most affordable 6,000mAh battery phones in India.

Realme is set to launch two new smartphones today in India. Realme C12 and Realme C15 both pack a 6,000mAh battery each with up to 18W fast charging support. The new smartphone will add to Realme's budget C-series in India, and are expected to be the most affordable 6,000mAh battery phones. 

Realme is scheduled to host a virtual livestream event for the C15 and C12 launch later today. The event will start at 12:30 pm and it will be live streamed via the company's official YouTube channel. Realme also announced that it will launch the Realme Buds Classic wired earphones. Since the Realme C12 and C14 phones have already launched in Indonesia, only the pricing details are to be announced.

Realme C15 specifications

Realme C15 features a 6.5-inch HD+ display and Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek's Helio G35 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. On the software front, Realme C15 runs Realme UI based on Android 10.

For photography, Realme C15 sports a quad-camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, 2-megapixel B&W lens, and 2-megapixel retro lens. There's an 8-megapixel camera up front for selfies.

Realme C15's 6,000mAh battery comes with support for 18W charging via a USB Type-C port. The smartphone has two colour options of silver and blue.

Realme C12 specifications

Realme C12 comes with the same display and chipset configuration as the C15. It, however, has only one variant of 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. There's a triple camera setup on the Realme C12 with a 13-megapixel primary sensor, 2-megapixel B&W lens and 2-megapixel macro lens. For selfies, it has a 5-megapixel front camera. Realme C12 also packs a 6,000mAh but with a slower charging output of 10W.

In Indonesia, Realme C12 is priced around ₹9,600, while the Realme C15 starts at around ₹10,000.
