Realme India CMO Francis Wong hints a 'flagship' launching next month, could be the Realme GT 5G

“I wish I could tell you the device I am using, it is our next flagship and it will launch as part of our 3rd anniversary celebration. Just wait for it,” said Wong.

Realme, earlier this year revealed its flagship smartphone, the Realme GT 5G. However, it has still not revealed when this device will be releasing in India. Although there's no official date from the brand, it's India CMO, Francis Wong may have dropped a hint on the possible launch time frame. While answering one of the questions on what is his current daily driver, Wong mentioned that he cannot reveal what the device is but he did reveal it as a ‘flagship' product which will launch on Realme's third anniversary. The question was asked by a fan on the Realme community page.

“I wish I could tell you the device I am using, it is our next flagship and it will launch as part of our 3rd anniversary celebration. Just wait for it,” said Wong.

Although Wong did not mention what exactly the device was and what was the launch time frame, he still left some hints. Realme, until now, has launched just one flagship this year - the Realme GT 5G. And considering the fact that the Chinese tech firm started its operations in India in May 2018, it will likely celebrate the third anniversary in May (next month). Add that fact that the flagship will arrive at the time of the third anniversary, and you have your answer.

The fact that Wong is using the product right now, means that it must be going through some network testing or some other tests - which are usually done before they launch in that particular country. However, since Wong has not yet confirmed, everything here is a guess.

The Realme GT 5G is equipped with the latest generation of processing platform - Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 along with Adreno 660 GPU. You also get LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage onboard. To keep things cool, Realme GT 5G uses the VC Boost Stainless Steel Cooling System - which is a new 3D vapor cooling tech that comes with reduced thickness and higher heat dissipation efficiency.

Some other specs included are 6.43-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED gaming screen with a 360Hz sampling rate, upgraded Hyper Boost 4.0 acceleration engine, dual stereo speakers and 65W SuperDart flash charge support.
