It is raining tablets! Just hours ago, Oppo confirmed bringing its Pad Air tablet to India as a device aimed at students. At the same time, sister brand Realme also announces bringing its third tablet device to India with the Realme Pad X. This is supposed to be the most advanced tablet from Realme after the Realme Pad and Realme Pad Mini, both of which were aimed at entry-level segments. The Realme Pad X was previously launched in China and is now coming to India as the flagship tablet model.

The Realme Pad X details and specs are yet to be revealed by the company. However, it seems that Realme could be launching the same model as the Chinese version, which is evident from the 5G branding. The Realme Pad X in China also support 5G networks and could become one of the very few Android tablets in India to support 5G.

Realme Pad X to launch in India soon

The Chinese version of the Realme Pad X features a 11-inch IPS LCD display. Unlike the Oppo Pad Air that uses the Snapdragon 680 chip, the Realme Pad X will use the faster Snapdragon 695 chipset. This one also uses a 8340mAh battery and comes with a 33W charger in the box. The Pad X tablet also gets a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. It boots Realme UI 3 out of the box.

The tablet comes in a base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB, while the top-end variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The tablet also gets a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 512GB and packs quad speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support.

Based on the specs, it seems that the Realme Pad X will compete with Xiaomi Pad 5, another performance-oriented tablet. The Xiaomi Pad 5 doesn't support 5G but it gets a very powerful Snapdragon 860 chipset, a 11-inch Quad HD+ display, and MIUI for Pad based on Android. It also gets a 33W fast charging solution out of the box.
