Realme Q3 smartphone series launch date confirmed, may feature glow-in-the-dark back panel

As per speculations, one of the smartphones in the series is the Realme Q3 Pro. The device has reportedly already shown up on TENAA and Geekbench, running Dimensity 1100 chipset.

Nothing is keeping Realme from not launching new smartphones in the market. The Chinese tech firm recently announced its Q3 handset series. And now, it has revealed the exact launch date of the lineup in China. The date mentioned by the firm is April 22, according to their Weibo post (via GSMArena). No other details have been mentioned about the smartphones, specs and the price range.

However, as per speculations, one of the smartphones in the series is the Realme Q3 Pro. The device has reportedly already shown up on TENAA and Geekbench, running Dimensity 1100 chipset. Also mentioned is that the lineup has a model with fluorescent colour that is supposed to glow in the dark.

Some of the other rumoured specs of the Realme Q3 Pro is the 6.43-inch AMOLED panel and a battery capacity of 4,500mAh. It is also supposed to have a 64-megapixel sensor along with two other cameras without any periscope and other high-end features.

As for the build, the firm adds that Realme Q3 lineup will feature a new sandstone crystal with a matte effect and five-axis micron-level 3D microstructure, all of which are supposed to make the handset look more appealing and attractive.

It is worth adding that April 22 is the same day when the company is launching its Realme 8 5G smartphone in India. It will also be the first phone in India with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset.The MediaTek chipset which is built on the 7nm process and is said to be 28% more power efficient than 8nm. The chipset can be clocked up to 2.2GHz and is paired with ARM Mali-G57 GPU.
