Realme to host biggest launch event on May 4
Realme will celebrate its third anniversary with a major launch event where it will bring the first MediaTek Dimensity 1200 phone in India.
Realme is going to host its biggest launch event of the year on May 4 which is when the company marks its three-year anniversary. This was confirmed by Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth during the latest edition of Ask Madhav. Sheth also revealed that Realme will launch the first MediaTek Dimensity 1200 phone in India, a new Realme TV and more products.
The MediaTek Dimensity 1200-powered phone is most likely the Realme X7 Max 5G that was teased during the Realme 8 5G launch in India. Realme has already launched the GT Neo smartphone in China with this chipset, and it's expected the Realme X7 Max 5G will be a rebranded version of it. Going by this speculation, we can expect Realme X7 Max 5G will feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
It will also feature a triple rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies, Realme X7 Max 5G will house a 16-megapixel front camera. It will also pack a 4,500mAh battery with 50W fast charging support.
Realme is also expected to launch a new smart TV at this event. Sheth said, “We are also bringing a new cinema experience with handsfree voice control with Dolby Vision & Audio experience.” Sheth has previously teased an upcoming 43-inch 4K TV, and also hinted at the launch of new 49-inch and 50-inch TVs with a home theatre experience.
As for the other products, there isn't much known about them but we'll most likely see new accessories as well.
