Realme on Monday officially announced the launch of its new V-series. The first phone under the new lineup is Realme V5. Launched in China, Realme V5 also comes with 5G support. The phone is priced at CNY 1,399 ( ₹15,000 approximately).
Realme V5's top-end model featuring 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at CNY 1,899 ( ₹20,000 approximately). The phone comes in Silver Wing Boy, Breaking Light (Green) and Blue colour options, reports Gizmochina. The phone is scheduled to go on sale on August 7. Right now, there is no word on the availability of the phone in other markets such as India.

The latest Realme phone comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with full HD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR support, and 90HZ refresh rate. It also supports the 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass.
The phone has four cameras on the back. The setup features a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, 2-megapixel macro sensor, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. It can also shoot 4K videos at 30fps. It has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.
For performance, it relies on MediaTek's high-end Dimensity 720 processor with 5G support. It has 6/8GB of RAM and 128GB built-in storage. The phone runs on a 5,000mAh battery with 30W SuperDart charging support. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C support.
Other features of the phone include fingerprint sensor (on the side button), microSD slot, and hi-res audio support.
