After the Redmi Note 11 series in India, Redmi has now come up with another affordable phone to satisfy those who prioritise battery life over everything else. The Redmi 10 Power is the successor to the Redmi 9 Power from last year and it now carries a higher price tag. In fact, starting at 14,999, the Redmi 10 Power is almost on par with the Redmi Note 11 in terms of pricing. Unlike Xiaomi's other offerings, this one comes only in a single storage variant and could be an enticing option for battery obsessed users.

The Redmi 10 Power comes in only a single variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, costing Rs. 14,999. The phone is available in Power Black and Sporty Orange colours. The phone resembles the Redmi 10 with its design and even has a fingerprint scanner on its back hidden in the black square surrounding the camera hump. It will be sold via on Mi.com, Mi Home, Amazon, and retail partners.

Redmi 10 Power features at a glance

The Redmi 10 Power features a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with 400 nits of peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 680 chipset that is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Redmi says the phone's RAM can be expanded by up to 3GB of virtual memory. The storage can also be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card. The Redmi 10 Power comes with MIUI 13 out of the box but it still gets Android 11. Redmi does not say when and whether the phone will get Android 12.

For photos and videos, the Redmi 10 Power gets a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture lens and a 2MP portrait camera with an f/2.4 aperture lens. For selfies, you have a 5MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens.

The major highlight though is the 6000mAh battery, which is a rarity on phones at this price. However, while the phone supports 18W fast charging, Redmi is only shipping a 10W charger in the box.

Connectivity options on the Redmi 10 Power include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, a proximity sensor and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
