Redmi 9A to Oppo F17 Pro, smartphones launching in India this week

September is opening with three smartphone launches in just the first week, and there's more to come.

August saw a series of smartphone launches in India ranging from the budget to flagship category. As a new month starts tomorrow, we're already looking at a few launches this week. These include smartphones from Xiaomi, Oppo and Tecno.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi 9 smartphone just last week in India. Shortly after, it announced the launch of Redmi 9A. Oppo which too launched its budget A53 smartphone last week is now gearing up for the F17 Pro smartphone launch in India. Then there's Tecno which will launch its Spark Go 2020 smartphone in India.

Here's a look at all the smartphone launches taking place in India this week.

Xiaomi Redmi 9A

The India launch of Redmi 9A is scheduled for September 2. The smartphone has already made its debut in Malaysia along with the Redmi 9C which launched as Redmi 9 in India. Redmi 9A is a budget phone and it comes with a 6.53-inch HFF+ display, MediaTek Helio G25 chipset, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It runs Android 10 based MIUI 11, and packs a 5,000mAh battery. Redmi 9A also has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. In Malaysia, Redmi 9A is priced at MYR 359 that's roughly ₹6,400.

Oppo F17 Pro

Oppo has been teasing the F17 Pro smartphone highlighting its ultra-slim design that measures 7.48mm thickness. It has also revealed some specs of the phone. Oppo F17 Pro will sport a quad-camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor. It will have two selfie cameras with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Oppo F17 Pro is scheduled to launch in India on September 2.

Tecno Spark Go 2020

Tecno Spark Go 2020 will be the first phone to launch among the three. Its launch is scheduled for September 1 and the smartphone has been listed on Flipkart. Tecno Spark Go 2020 is teased to feature a 6.52-inch display. It will have a water drop style notch on top, USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There's no word on the smartphone's specs yet. But with the launch taking place tomorrow, we'll soon get to know all about the Tecno Spark Go 2020.
