Samsung announces another Unpacked event for the Galaxy Z Fold 2

Samsung's ‘Unpacked Part 2’ event will take place on September 1, and the pricing details of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will most likely be revealed on this day.

Samsung held its second major ‘Unpacked 2020' event earlier this month. Here, it launched five new devices including the Galaxy Z Fold 2. Looks like Samsung isn't satisfied with that event and wants to hold another Unpacked event only for the Galaxy Z Fold 2.

‘Unpacked Part 2' will take place on September 1, and yes it will be a virtual event. Samsung's invite for the event says that it will “explore in depth the groundbreaking features of the Galaxy Z Fold2 Event.” Samsung has already launched the Galaxy Z Fold 2 but it hasn't revealed the pricing and availability details yet. This event will most likely be for that and other shenanigans of the foldable phone.

Interestingly, the Galaxy Z Fold 2's price in the UK has already been revealed. In the UK, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is priced at 1,799 pounds ( ₹1,66,000 approx). The foldable phone is up for pre-orders and it will ship starting September 17. It will be available from September 18 onwards. Galaxy Z Fold 2 will start selling in India too but its availability details aren't out yet.

In terms of specs, Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED cover display. The exterior display is a 7.6-inch Super AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood of the foldable phone runs Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865+ chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The Galaxy Z Fold sports a triple rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens . It also has dual 10-megapixel cameras for selfies. The foldable phone has a total battery capacity of 4,500mAh.
