Samsung extends buy-and-try offer on Z Fold 2 and Z Flip 5G to 100 days
As part of the program, which is currently available in the United States, customers can now pay for the Galaxy Fold2 or the Galaxy Flip 5G upfront, then take the device home for a hundred days.
Samsung’s foldable Galaxy devices may be the best on the market when it comes to the new and revolutionary phone technology, but their prices can be extremely exorbitant - for example, the Galaxy Fold2 5G costs ₹1.49 lakh in India. Samsung realises that spending on these devices might take some convincing, so it is allowing customers in select areas to “buy and try” a Galaxy foldable device for 100 days.
As part of the program, which is currently available in the United States, customers can now pay for the Galaxy Fold2 or the Galaxy Flip 5G upfront, then take the device home for a hundred days. If they don’t like it, they can return it and they’ll still be eligible for exchange credits plus discounts, according to a report by 9to5Google.
Samsung has always offered customers the option of buying their phones and using them for two weeks before returning them if it isn’t for them. However, giving customers three whole months to try out a device seems like a great opportunity for people to properly figure out if they like foldable devices or whether they prefer one of Samsung’s regularly shaped flagships like the Galaxy S21 Ultra.
According to the report, Samsung isn’t offering the 100-day buy and try program for a long period - the offer ends on April 1. Customers will also need to buy the device from Samsung.com and the offer is applicable only to the Galaxy Z Fold 2 worth $1,999 and Galaxy Z Flip 5G worth $1,199 in order to be eligible for the offer.
