Samsung Galaxy A12 with quad rear cameras, 5000mAh battery launched in India

Samsung just expanded its line of mid-range smartphones in India by launching the Samsung Galaxy A12. It is also the company's first Galaxy A series handset to launch in India this year. Priced at 12,999 for the 4GB+64GB model and 13,999 for the 4GB+128GB model, the Galaxy A12 aims probably the same audience for which the M series is aimed at - Youngsters who want to get the most of their device.

You can get the A12 with different offers. Besides being available in zero down-payment EMI payment option, you can also available benefits worth 7,000 if you are a Jio customer.The benefits include instant cashback of 3,000, on the prepaid recharge of 349 plan and 4,000 worth vouchers from partners.Vi customers will get double data benefits on 299 recharge for 3 months or 3 recharges.

On the specifications front, the Galaxy A12 runs Android 10-based OneUI 2.5 out of the box. It has a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity V display with 20:9 aspect ratio. Powering it is the MediaTek Helio P35 processor. Cameras are the key feature of the handset. There is a quad camera setup at the back with a 48-megapixel primary camera with ISOCELL GM2 sensor, 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a macro lens and a depth camera. At the front, you get an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies.

Backing the entire smartphone is a 5000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging.
