Samsung Galaxy A52 5G India launch imminent

Samsung Galaxy A52 5G has been spotted on the BIS website hinting at its imminent launch in India.

Samsung launched the Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A72 last month. It however did not bring the Galaxy A52 5G to India. A new report now suggests that the 5G variant could actually launch in the country.

A Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-A526B/DS has been spotted on the BIS website. According to a report by 91mobiles, this phone is the Galaxy A52 5G. The BIS listing doesn't reveal anything else about the phone but it does hint at an imminent launch. Galaxy A52 5G launched in Europe along with its 4G counterpart and Galaxy A72.

In terms of specs, Samsung Galaxy A52 5G features a 6.5-inch full HD+ super AMOLED display with an Infinity-O cutout. It's the same display as the 4G variant but it offers a higher refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone is powered by an unnamed octa-core processor which according to GSMArena is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G. Galaxy A52 5G comes in two RAM variants of 6GB and 8GB with 256GB of internal storage.

The smartphone has a quad-rear camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 5-megapixel macro sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it has a 32-megapixel selfie camera. It comes with a 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging technology.

In terms of pricing, Galaxy A52 5G starts at 429 Euros ( 37,085 approx). In comparison to Galaxy A52 4G, it starts at 26,499 in India. Samsung is yet to confirm if it is bringing the Galaxy A52 5G in India.
