Samsung Galaxy E02 support page goes live in India, launch expected soon
Samsung is all set to get its Galaxy E series back in India.
Samsung has been busy launching a bunch of smartphones in India. After the recent Samsung Galaxy F62, the company is now going to launch the Galaxy A72, A52 and the A32 as well. And over the past few weeks we have been seeing these devices turn up on multiple certification and benchmark websites.
Besides these new A series devices, Samsung seems to be gearing up to launch one more device in India - the Samsung Galaxy E02. This will mark the return of the E series for the company.
The support page of the Galaxy E02 has gone live on the Samsung India website suggesting that the launch is about to happen soon.
The support page itself does not have too many details though. The information on the page mentions that the Galaxy E02 is listed with the model number SM-E025F/DS. The smartphone has also already received the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification last month. The Galaxy E02 was also spotted on the Wi-Fi alliance website with the same model number.
The Wi-Fi listing revealed that the device is going to come with support for 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band and will run Android 10 out-of-the-box. Speculations have been doing the rounds that the Galaxy E02 could be a budget device, similar to the Galaxy M series and be priced around ₹10,000 or lower.
We have no information about its display size, hardware configuration, battery or even camera details. Chances are that we’ll learn more as we get closer to the launch.
