Samsung is gearing up for the launch of a new budget smartphone in India. Called Galaxy M02, the handset will be launched on February 2. The smartphone is going to be available on Amazon which has also set up a dedicated page for the same.

According to the Amazon page, Samsung Galaxy M02 will come with a 6.5-inch display with HD+ resolution. It will also come with an Infinity-V cutout. The page further reveals the phone has a 5,000mAh battery. Other features of the handset are likely to be revealed in the coming days.

Samsung Galaxy M02 is said to be a cheaper version of the Galaxy M02s, which launched in India earlier this month. Available for a starting price of 8,999, the phone comes with triple rear cameras, HD+ display, and 5,000mAh battery.

The phone comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity V display with a notch on top. The smartphone runs Qualcomm's Snapdragon 450 processor. It also features a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB.

The triple camera setup on the Galaxy M02s comes with a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the smartphone has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Some of its camera features include selfie focus and live beauty. The smartphone is fuelled by a 5,000mAh battery along with support for 15W fast charging.
