Samsung Galaxy M42 5G goes on sale in India
Samsung Galaxy M42 5G is now available in India at an introductory price of ₹19,999 and ₹21,999 for the two variants.
Samsung's latest 5G smartphone, Galaxy M42 is now available to purchase in India. Samsung Galaxy M42 5G comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor, a 5,000mAh battery and a quad rear camera setup. The smartphone can be purchased from Samsung.com and Amazon India.
Galaxy M42 5G starts at ₹21,999 for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, and this variant is priced at ₹23,999. Samsung is offering the phone at an introductory price of ₹19,999 and ₹21,999. Galaxy M42 5G features a prism dot design with a glossy finish in two colour options of Prism Dot Black and Prism Dot Gray.
Galaxy M42 5G has a 6.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display. Under the hood of the phone runs Qualcomm's Snapdragon 750G octa-core processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also has support for expandable storage up to 1TB via a microSD card.

On the Galaxy M42 5G you get a quad-camera setup at the rear with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro sensor, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the smartphone features a 20-megapixel front camera.
The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. It is also equipped with Knox Security and Samsung Pay. On the software front, Galaxy M42 5G runs One UI 3.1 based on Android 11 out-of-the-box.
