Samsung has officially begun preparations for the launch of Galaxy M51 in India. The company is yet to reveal a launch date yet but has posted its first official teaser for the phone. It is also listed on Amazon India.

Just like the Galaxy M31s, there has been a lot of buzz around the Galaxy M51 mainly because of the battery capabilities. If the Galaxy M31s offered a 6,000mAh battery, Galaxy M51 is expected to take this to a new level with a massive 7,000mAh battery.

Ahead of the official launch, more and new details of the phone have continued to leak online. Samsung Galaxy M51 is expected to be priced between 25,000 and 30,000.

The smartphone is expected to come with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED full HD+ display. It is said to come in 6GB and 8GB RAM options and 128GB as one of the storage versions. It is also said to come with a quad-camera setup which is set feature a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel portrait lens and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies, the Galaxy M51 will sport a 32-megapixel front camera.

Samsung's new battery phone may rely on the Snapdragon 765G processor. On the software front, it will most likely run One UI 2.1 based on Android 10. The 7,000mAh battery onboard is also said to come with 25W fast charging speed.

Leaked renders reveal the Galaxy M51 has a punch-hole display with an Infinity-O cutout. The back panel houses the four rear cameras and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It's also been spotted in two colour options of black and white. If the renders are to be believed, the Galaxy M51 may be thicker than recently launched Galaxy M31s.
