Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G with Snapdragon chipset coming soon
Samsung has sort of made the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S20 FE 4G official on one of its websites.
Samsung has been rumoured to launch a Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S20 FE 4G. The company currently offers Galaxy S20 FE 4G with an Exynos processor, and the 5G model with a Snapdragon one. Samsung Sweden has now made the store page live of what’s believed to be the Galaxy S20 FE 4G with a Snapdragon processor.
The Galaxy S20 FE listed on the Samsung website has the model number SM-G780G which is said to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865-powered Galaxy S20 FE 4G, according to a report by Winfuture. The smartphone has been listed with four colour options of Cloud Lavender, Cloud Navy, Cloud Mint, and Cloud Red. Only one variant with 128GB RAM has been listed on the website but it’s expected to come with 256GB storage as well.
With this addition Samsung will now offer the Galaxy S20 FE 4G and 5G with the Snapdragon 865 processor. The company is also expected to stop selling the Exynos-powered Galaxy S20 FE 4G. Other than the chipset change, there aren’t any differences in the new model.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G features a 6.5-inch sAMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone features a triple-camera setup on the back with a 12-megapixel wide sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor. On the front, it houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Galaxy S20 FE 4G packs a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. It also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB.
