Samsung Galaxy S20 FE with 4G and Qualcomm chip could launch soon
The phone is said to come with 6GB of RAM and Android 11 out-of-the-box.
Samsung is reportedly working on a new version of Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (FE). The company currently offers two models, one with 4G and another one with 5G. The difference between the two is that the 4G version has an Exynos processor while the 5G variant has a Snapdragon processor. The new model will come with 4G support, and this time around, it will have a Snapdragon chip.
According to GSMArena (via Mysmartprice), a new Samsung phone with model number SM-G780G/DC has appeared on the NBTC certification site. The phone has only 4G support. The same model has also appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking website with the “Kona” motherboard. The report points out that the “Kona” is the codename for Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 processor.
The benchmark listing reveals the phone comes with 6GB of RAM. The phone is also said to come with Android 11 out-of-the-box. As far as benchmarking scores go, the phone has bagged 893 points on the multi-core test and 3094 multi-core test.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE with 4G and Snapdragon chip will follow the launch of the 5G version. The phone will be available at a special introductory price of ₹47,999 starting March 31. The phone comes with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 processor.

The handset has a 6.5-inch sAMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It comes in Cloud Navy, Cloud Mint and Cloud Lavender colours. It features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. There is also a microSD card slot that supports expandable storage up to 1TB. It runs on a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.

In the photography department, Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G comes with a triple-camera setup on the back. It consists of a 12-megapixel wide sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor. On the front, it houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
