Samsung Galaxy S20 FE with Snapdragon 865 processor launched

The new Samsung Galaxy S20 FE comes with the same specifications as the Exynos variant except for the chipset.

Samsung has finally made the Snapdragon version of its popular Galaxy S20 FE official. Galaxy S20 FE with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor has been made official in Germany, Malaysia and Vietnam. Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 FE with the in-house Exynos 990 processor last year.

The new Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is priced at MYR 2,299 ( 41,300 approx) for the base model in Malaysia. The smartphone comes in three colour options of Blue, Orange and Violet. This would be the third model Samsung has launched of the Galaxy S20 FE. After the original phone, it launched the Galaxy S20 FE 5G and now the Snapdragon version. Samsung is yet to reveal when the phone will launch in other markets including India.

The Snapdragon powered-Galaxy S20 FE comes with the same set of specifications as the Exynos version. It features a 6.5-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone has a triple rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, a 12-megapixel wide angle lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. For selfies, Galaxy S20 FE houses a 32-megapixel punch-hole camera.

The smartphone is fueled by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. It also comes with a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB. Galaxy S20 FE also has an IP68 rating for water resistance, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. More features on the Galaxy S20 FE include dual SIM support, 4G LTE, Wireless PowerShare, and a USB Type-C port.
