Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra may support S Pen in future, 'Note' series might be killed
Although this is a major change in the line-up, for the most part it does make sense considering both Galaxy S series and Note series come with same set of specs with the only major difference being the S Pen implementation.

Samsung Galaxy Note series has been one of the longest running smartphone series by the firm that, over the years, has garnered a dedicated crowd and has marked a special place for itself. But off lately, with Galaxy S series getting equally strong and other series being introduced such as ‘Galaxy Fold' and ‘Z Fold', someone has to make an exit – and it looks like Galaxy Note will be the one taking the bullet.
A report from South Korea states that Samsung is planning to ‘kill' the Galaxy Note line up as soon as next year and replace it with Galaxy Fold series instead. And in case you want that ‘S-Pen' experience, Samsung will include it in next-gen Galaxy S handset, tipped as Galaxy S21. However, the S-Pen support is said to arrive in just Galaxy S21 Ultra.

The Note series launch is said to be replaced by Galaxy Z Fold launches starting next year. Galaxy Fold is a new series of foldable phones by the firm and it is giving it a dedicated annual launch event is not a bad decision. Last year and earlier this month we saw Samsung introducing new Galaxy Fold handsets alongside the Note series.
As for the rumoured Galaxy S21, the smartphone series is said to arrive in the first half of next year. Usually Samsung launches the refreshed S line up in February-end or March. As per tipster Ishaan Agarwal, the S21 is codenamed as ‘Unbound' and there might be three devices under development – M1, N2 and O3. O3 is said to be the ‘Ultra' variant with S-Pen support.
