Samsung has been doing really well when it comes to software updates in its smartphones. In the past we have also seen the South Korean firm rolling out the Android security patch for the next month, even before they come to Google's own Pixel devices. And something similar is happening once again now. The company started rolling out the April security patch, in March. This patch is said to arrive on the new and older flagship models - Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold2 and Galaxy Note 10.

If you happen to own any of the smartphones from the list, you may soon get an OTA with April security patch. However, not all the users will be receiving it at once as the rollout dates might be different for different countries. Also, as mentioned above, the April security patch has not yet reached any of the Pixel smartphones yet. It has also been mentioned that although all the above Samsung phones are getting the patch, it might not be the same for all.

The Galaxy S21 series is receiving a 1GB update, which not just brings April patch but also performance and camera improvements. It now enables the portrait mode on the main camera. This feature was earlier limited to telephoto or ultrawide cameras. One of the countries where this update is rolling out is India, reports Sammobile.

The Galaxy Z Fold2's update doesn't seem to have a whole lot of drastic changes in the update. This is said to come in Germany and Russia, as mentioned by XDA Developers. The Galaxy Note10 series update is said to be almost the same as what is rolled out for Galaxy Z Fold 2.

You can check the update by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and Install.
