Despite being a ‘shrunken’ version of a much bigger phone, the Xperia 5 II is still a super-tall phone that comes with the 21:9 aspect ratio. It has a 6.1-inch Full HD+ HDR OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Sony's upcoming Xperia 5 II has been leaked almost entirely thanks to a promotional video obtained by Android Headlines. The successor to last year's Xperia 5 is Sony's smaller flagship, the Sony Xperia 5 II is scheduled to launch on September 17.

Like last year's Xperia 5, which was the smaller version of the Xperia 1, the Xperia 5 II looks like a shrunken version of the Xperia 1 II. And it should be priced lower than the whopping $1,200 on the Xperia 1 II.

Despite being a ‘shrunken' version of a much bigger phone, the Xperia 5 II is still a super-tall phone that comes with the 21:9 aspect ratio. It has a 6.1-inch Full HD+ HDR OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The cameras on the Xperia 5 II have been upgraded, though the triple-camera setup on the back looks identical to what the Xperia 1 II has, with Zeiss lenses. There is a 12MP main camera with a f/1.7 aperture and a 24mm lens along with a 12MP 124-degree ultrawide and 12MP telephoto lens with 3X zoom. However, there is no time-of-flight sensor on the rear camera setup.

The internal specs have also been bumped up with a 4,000mAh battery, Snapdragon 865 under the hood for power, 8GB of RAM (as compared to the 6GB seen on last year's model) and 128GB of internal memory. There is an option to expand internal memory with a microSD card.

And there is also a 3.5mm headphone jack.

For prices and all other details, we must wait till September 17.
