Tesla's first phone- 'Pi Phone' will go on sale in the month of December 2022, according to reports. Here are the features and other details to know.

Tesla is all set to give a tough competition to smartphone companies like Samsung, Apple, and more. Wondering how and why? The company will soon bring its first phone on sale. According to a report by in.mashable.com, the Tesla Pi Phone will go on sale in the month December 2022. It can be noted that Tesla is venturing into the smartphone market after successfully exploring the cars and space sector.

According to a report by The Tech Outlook, the phone by Tesla will feature a 6.7 inch OLED display. While the other features include a pixel density of 458ppi and a refresh rate of 120 HZ, brightness level of around 1600 nits, among others. The phone will have 8GB RAM and 512 GB of storage and will sport a triple camera setup with all cameras of 50MP. The selfie or front camera will be of 40 MP. Also, according to the report, the phone will weigh about 240 grams and will arrive in the market in black color.

Also, the phone is anticipated to get a 5000 mAh battery. It can be noted that there is no information on the pricing of the phone as of now, however, as per reports, the expected price is between Rs. 70,000 - Rs. 80,000.

Apart from the upcoming smartphone, Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Wednesday launched a new 'Burnt Hair' perfume with the fragrance of 'Repugnant Desire'. Musk announced the perfume over his official Twitter handle by writing, "The finest fragrance on Earth!". He also changed his Twitter biography to "Perfume Salesman."

In a series of tweets, Musk further mentioned that 10,000 bottles of the perfume had been sold, which has now increased to 20,000. He also jokingly urged people to buy his perfume so that he can buy Twitter. "Please buy my perfume, so I can buy Twitter," his tweet read.
