Apple is going to make a big change this year in its flagship series - the iPhone 14 mini will be replaced by a whole new iPhone 14 Max. Not just that, the compact 5.4-inches mini iPhone's replacement will be a truly gigantic iPhone 14 Max that will have a huge 6.7-inch display. Till now, a bigger-sized display on an iPhone used to be the Pro version only, and in the case of the iPhone 13 series, it's the iPhone 13 Pro Max that has a screen this big. But this year, it will be the first time ever that Apple will bring an iPhone with a 6.7-inch display in a non-Pro avatar. This may attract many Apple fans because of its bigger display and its relatively low price.

However, you should know that you may face difficulty in getting the iPhone 14 Max after the launch of iPhone 14 series. Analyst Ross Young revealed that the production of the iPhone 14 Max is behind schedule, which may cause some supply chain difficulties too, 9to5Mac reported. According to the analyst, the iPhone 14 Max's panel shipments are still lagging far behind the iPhone 14 Pro Max. His data is based on supply chain information through the month of August. He also mentioned that the supply chain volume for iPhone 14 Pro Max is almost three times higher than the volume of iPhone 14 Max.

You should note that the iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Max will share the same screen size of 6.7-inches, but will differ in a number of ways, including the panels. The non-Pro version will miss the support for ProMotion, which is Apple's adaptive refresh rate technology exclusively for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Not sure which
mobile to buy?

Earlier, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo too had reported that the iPhone 14 Max production was behind schedule, but the situation was “under control.” But that was the case a few months back. So, if today the iPhone 14 Max is facing hurdles, then there is a big possibility that Apple fans may face delayed supply after the launch and they will have to decide whether it is worth waiting for.
