The OnePlus 9RT 5G is here and the smartphone-maker says it will raise the game for players with flagship-grade imaging without running out of battery or getting heated up at a critical moment in the game.

The OnePlus 9RT 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 888, 12GB of LPDDR5 memory, and 256GB of UFS3.1 high-speed flash memory. This works in harmony with OnePlus' Oxygen OS which has been tuned to lend more power to the chipset. It enables the smartphone to switch between multiple apps and to open the camera to view the photo taken last, at the same time.

One of the highlights touted is its ability not to get too heated even after a few hours of use. This is courtesy the hardware on the OnePlus 9RT being coupled with evenly distributed heat dissipation routes, internal mechanical stacking, and an express heat dissipation channel placed next to key heat sources such as the SoC module and battery PCB. The OnePlus 9RT 5G provides a 20 per cent more efficient heat dissipation mechanism compared to the previous OnePlus 9 series, it says.

The new smartphone has a Tri-eSport Wi-Fi Antenna System that ensures fast, and undisturbed connectivity and an additional performance-enhancing antenna to improve stability, boost speed, and maximize reception.

On the looks front, the OnePlus 9RT 5G comes in two colour options – Nano Silver and Hacker Black.

The device also comes with a host of other features including the all-new Hyper Touch 2.0, which works towards unlocking the potential of the 300 Hz response rate IC hardware on the device and doubles it to 600 Hz. At this hyper-sensitive response rate, the OnePlus 9RT 5G is able to lower its lowest touch delay of 36 ms to 29 ms.

Battery is one of the strongest points that gamers look at in a phone. The OnePlus 9RT 5G comes with a large 4,500 mAh battery that can last all day and along with the Warp Charge 65T technology, it takes 15 minutes for the phone to charge from 1 percent to 65 percent and 29 minutes for a full 100 percent charge. Moreover, the company says it has a built-in safety protection mechanism of 12 thermal sensors that ensure charging safety and battery health, even when the phone is charging on full battery.

The OnePlus 9RT 5G camera is fitted with the Flagship Sensor IMX766. The massive 1/1.56 inch area makes it one of the largest sensors to ever be used in smartphones. It can capture more light and therefore, produce clearer, cleaner photos with significantly less noise even in low light environments. With the addition of OIS (optical image stabilization), an image foundation is established to provide stable video captures and the newly calibrated Nightscape algorithm also enhances photography in low light settings.

The newest member of the OnePlus flagship family is an upgraded extension of the OnePlus 9R model. With this new smartphone, OnePlus aims to redefine entry-level flagships for users. The flagship smartphone is available for 42,999 at the OnePlus online store as well as flagship dealerships across the country.
