Truecaller’s Brand Solution platform hits 1bn impressions in a day

    Truecaller on Monday said that its Brand Solutions platform has gone past 1 billion impressions in a single day in India.

    The company said the platform gives marketers a non-intrusive way of engaging with users and build a brand presence. It also claimed that the programmatic format of the platform offers intelligent advertising and a brand-safe environment.

    Truecaller further said that the programmatic platform offers unique advertising vehicles that help deliver contextually relevant messages to its over 170 million active smartphone users in India. The company pointed out that the platform also gives the flexibility to advertisers by hitting peaks at different times of the day and has the capability to deliver over 2 million impressions per minute.

    “Truecaller’s programmatic advertising platform has accomplished significant achievements since its inception. With marketers and CMO’s shifting their strategies from mobile-first to mobile-only, advertising platforms such as ours are best placed to help achieve these objectives. Around the festive season, when audiences have their eyes wider open than usual, we look towards working together with our partners to achieve our objectives together.     Separately, Truecaller has launched a spam activity indicator for Android users. The indicator shows more insights about a spam call. The indicator will show spam reports, call activity, and peak calling hours.

    Truecaller, a Swedish company, is very popular in India for its unique solutions such as caller-identification, call-blocking, and messaging services. The company last year identified 29.7 billion spam calls and 8.5 billion spam messages for users in India.
