Vivo S7 with dual selfie cameras, 5G support launched
Vivo S7 also comes with triple rear cameras, and a 4,000mAh battery.
Vivo S7 is finally official, and it's the latest mid-range 5G phone as well. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765G chipset which comes with a 5G chip.
Vivo S7 is currently available in China at a starting price of CNY 2,798 ( ₹30,100 approx) for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also comes with 256GB storage capacity which retails at CNU 3,098 ( ₹33,300 approx). Vivo S7 has three colour options of ‘Jazzy Black', ‘Monet' and ‘Moonlight White'. While the black and white are pretty straightforward, the Monet variant offers a gradient finish with a mix of different shades.
Vivo S7 features a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with HDR support. It has dual selfie cameras with a 44-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens. These aren't punch-hole cameras though, and are actually tucked under a tiny notch on top. At the rear, there's a triple-camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
Vivo S7 doesn't have a microSD card slot for expandable storage. The phone offers 128GB and 256GB storage options. There's no 3.5mm headphone jack on the Vivo S7 either. It packs a 4,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. Its connectivity options other than 5G include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC and dual-SIM support.
Vivo S7 is the latest to join a growing list of mid-range premium 5G smartphones. There's no word on when the Vivo S7 will be available in other markets including India.
