Vivo is launching the V21 5G smartphone in India today. Vivo V21 5G is touted as the world’s first phone with a 44-megapixel selfie camera and OIS. Vivo calls it the ‘Night Selfie’ camera. The Vivo V21 5G India launch is scheduled to take place later today at 12 pm. The smartphone will be available on e-commerce platform Flipkart.

Vivo V212 5G has already made its debut alongside V21 and V21e in Malaysia. But the company hasn’t revealed the price of the smartphone yet. Vivo V21 5G comes in three colour options of Arctic White, Dusk Blue, and Sunset Dazzle. It features a slim design with a notched display. In terms of specs, Vivo V21 5G features a 6.44-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The smartphone has a triple rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies, Vivo V21 5G features a 44-megapixel front camera. The smartphone comes with this ‘Dual Selfie Spotlight’ feature that uses the LED flash and the screen's soft light to brighten selfies in low-light conditions.

The smartphone also packs a 4,000mAh battery with support for 33W FlashCharge fast charging support. Its connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Vivo V21 5G will most likely come with the same set of specifications in India. Now all that remains is its pricing to be revealed.
