Vivo V21 5G with 44MP ‘Night Selfie’ camera to launch in India on April 29
Vivo V21 5G is touted to feature the world's first 44-megapixel selfie camera with OIS.
Vivo has revealed the launch date of its V21 5G smartphone for India. Vivo V21 5G will launch in India on April 29. Vivo is touting V21 5G as the first phone in the world with a 44-megapixel selfie camera and OIS. The smartphone is also teased to have a slim body.
The company has so far revealed the design of the Vivo V21 5G. It will come in two colour options of ‘Sunset Dazzle and Arctic White', and ‘Dusk Blue'. Vivo V21 5G has a notched display housing the selfie camera. The triple rear cameras are stacked on the top right corner of the phone. The volume rockers and power button are placed on the right edge. Apart from the 44-megapixel OIS selfie camera, Vivo has confirmed the V21 5G has a similar 64-megapixel ‘OIS Night Camera' on the back.
Another highlight of the phone is the extended RAM feature. According to Vivo, the V21 5G has 8GB+3GB” extended RAM. “Thanks to additional 3GB RAM effect on your 8GB phone, you can maximise your phone's potential and run your apps at faster speeds without lag,” says Vivo on its website.
Vivo V21 5G will make its debut on April 27 in Thailand. Vivo V21e will also launch alongside the V21 5G. The company is expected to work on more variants of the phone including a V21 SE. The handset is said to come with 8GB of RAM, a Qualcomm chipset, and a full HD display with 440ppi pixel density. It will come with Android 11 out-of-the-box. Vivo has so far confirmed only the V21 5G for India.
