Vivo V21 5G is coming to India very soon. The company has not yet disclosed the official launch date but confirmed its imminent launch on its Twitter handle. It also confirmed the phone would come with a 44-megapixel OIS Night Selfie camera.

It is worth noting that Vivo has already teased the launch of the phone in other markets. According to official posts from Vivo Malaysia, the phone houses a dewdrop-like notch on the front and an LED flash setup on the top panel. The back panel houses the rectangular camera module at the top left corner. The module has at least three camera sensors. The volume rockers and power button are placed on the right edge. The power button is likely to double as the fingerprint reader.

Apart from the 44-megapixel OIS selfie camera, Vivo has confirmed the V21 5G has a similar 64-megapixel ‘OIS Night Camera' on the back. The handset will come with features like dual-SIM support with both slots supporting 5G connectivity. It will be available in at least two colour options.

Another highlight of the phone is the extended RAM. According to Vivo, the V21 5G has 8GB+3GB” extended RAM. “Thanks to additional 3GB RAM effect on your 8GB phone, you can maximise your phone's potential and run your apps at faster speeds without lag,” says Vivo on its website.

Apart from the base V21 5G, Vivo is also working on other variants of the phone. According to rumours, Vivo will also launch a V21 SE. The handset is said to come with 8GB of RAM, a Qualcomm chipset, and a full HD display with 440ppi pixel density. It will come with Android 11 out-of-the-box.
