Vivo is set to introduce a new V-series smartphone soon. In the past, reports have hinted towards the company launching the phone in Malaysia. Now, a new report has hinted towards the phone launching in India soon.

GizChina quoting a report by Money Control said that Vivo is planning to launch the Vivo V21 in India on April 27. It is the same day when the company's upcoming V-series smartphone will be available in Malaysia.

As far as the specifications are concerned, a teaser image shared by the company hints towards the phone coming with thin bezels on the sides and a dewdrop on the top. It is also likely to feature the company's ‘Spotlight Selfie' feature. The teaser also gives us a glimpse of the phone's back panel. The upcoming Vivo V21 will come with a vertically stacked rectangular camera setup that houses a triple camera setup with an LED flash.

The phone is tipped to get a 44MP selfie camera with optical image stabalisation (OIS) feature with Eye Auto Focus. At the back, it is tipped to come with a 64MP primary sensor. The phone is likely to get 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage space. It will run on Android 11-based FuntouchOS 11. It is likely to come with dual 5G support. However, reports hint towards the phone being available in a vanilla 4G variant as well. In India, the Vivo V21 is expected to cost around 25,000. That said, for now, we would take these details with a pinch of salt as Vivo hasn't confirmed anything yet.
