Vivo Y20, Y20i smartphones launched in India, check price, specs

Vivo Y20 and Y20i both come with the Snapdragon 460 chipset, 5,000mAh battery and triple rear cameras.

Vivo has added two new smartphones in its Y-series in India. Vivo Y20 and Y20i both come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor, and pack a 5,000mAh battery.

Vivo Y20 is priced at ₹12,990 and it will go on sale from August 28 onwards. The smartphone will be available in retail stores, Vivo's e-store and e-commerce platforms as well. Vivo Y20 comes in two colour options of black and white. Vivo Y20i will be available a little later on September 3, and it's priced at ₹11,490. Vivo Y20i can be purchased from the same places as the Y20.

In terms of specs, Vivo Y20 features a 6.51-inch HD+ display. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 460 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of RAM. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18 fast charging support. On the software front, it runs FunTouch OS 10.5.

In the photography department, Vivo Y20 sports a triple rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel, and two 2-megapixel sensors. It has an 8-megapixel camera for selfies. Some of the camera features include portrait mode, panorama, live photo, and slo-mo videos. Connectivity options on the Vivo Y20 are dual SIM support, Bluetooth 5.0, micro USB and Wi-Fi.

The Vivo Y20i comes with almost all the same specifications as the Y20. The only difference is that the Vivo Y20i packs a smaller 3GB of RAM. Its colour options are also slightly different as instead of black you get blue on the Vivo Y20i.
