Xiaomi hints at the launch of the X-series in India on April 23
Xiaomi has already confirmed it will launch the premium Mi 11 Ultra at its April 23 event.
Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of Mi 11 Ultra in India on April 23. The company on Monday dropped a new teaser to hint at the launch of new phones under an X-series.
According to GSMArena, the X-series could debut with Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro. The two phones are said to be rebranded version of the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro phones. The latest teaser comes after Xiaomi VP Manu Kumar Jain said “many Mi phones” will launch on April 23.

Xiaomi had launched the Mi 11 Ultra last month. The handset is available in China for a starting price of RMB 5,599 (roughly ₹62,000) for the 8GB+256GB variant. The other model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at RMB 5,999 (roughly ₹66,500). The top-end model with 16GB of RAM and 256GB storage costs RMB 6,999 (roughly ₹77,500).
The highlight of the Mi 11 Ultra is the secondary 1.1-inch AMOLED Always On screen at the back. The phone comes with 1/1.12-inch 50-megapixel sensor size. There's also a 48-megapixel 128-degree ultra-wide camera (f/2.2, 7P lens) and a 48-megapixel periscope lens with 120x zoom. Also, the Mi 11 Ultra features a 10x Hybrid zoom. It also supports 8K resolution video recording, dToF 64 point laser autofocus, 4-axis OIS and 1920fps slow-motion video recording.
The Mi 11 Ultra has a 6.81-inch QHD+ AMOLED primary display with up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, and 1,700 nits of peak brightness. It runs on Qualcomm's top-end Snapdragon 888 processor with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 67W wired fast-charging support. The handset also comes with 67W wireless charging and 10W wireless charging support.
