Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra with secondary rear display is coming to India, official launch date announced
Since the handset has already been introduced globally, the specs and key features of the device is already out along with China pricing.
It has been just a couple of days since Xiaomi showcased its most powerful smartphone of the year, the Mi 11 Ultra and the device already has an India launch date. The Chinese tech giant announced the arrival of the handset to the country, on Twitter. The announcement specifically came from Manu Kumar Jain, Global vice president and Managing Director. Besides praising the prowess of the device and talking about the camera, Jain tweeted “Launching in #India on 23rd April.” It is worth adding that Xiaomi has not yet launched any of its Mi 11 smartphones in India and this seems to be the first one.

The Mi 11 Ultra is priced at RMB 5,599 (roughly ₹62,000) for 8GB+256GB variant, RMB 5,999 (roughly ₹66,500) for the 12GB+256GB version and RMB 6,999 (roughly ₹77,500) for the 16GB + 256GB variant.
The smartphone is first by Xiaomi to feature a small secondary 1.1-inch AMOLED Always On screen at the back besides the camera so you get the framing right while taking high-res selfie images from the primary rear camera. It also shows you time, call notifications, battery level and more. As for the camera, the handset sports a 1/1.12-inch 50-megapixel sensor size. There's also a 48-megapixel 128-degree ultra-wide camera (f/2.2, 7P lens) and a 48-megapixel periscope lens with 120x zoom. In addition, the Mi 11 Ultra has 10x Hybrid zoom.

Some additional features mentioned are Samsung GN2 sensor, 8K resolution video recording, dToF 64 point laser autofocus, 4-axis OIS and 1920fps slow motion video recording. The device comes in two colours - Black and White.
Other specifications include 6.81-inch QHD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and 1700nits peak brightness. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and is paired with 8GB/12GB/16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W wired fast-charging, 67W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging.
