Xiaomi to launch Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11X series, Mi QLED TV 75 in India today
Xiaomi has already launched the Mi 11 Ultra smartphone. The Mi 11X series is expected to feature rebranded versions of recent Xiaomi phones.
Xiaomi is hosting a digital event today in India where it's going to launch new smartphones, and a smart TV. Xiaomi will launch its flagship Mi 11 Ultra smartphone, a new Mi 11X series, and the Mi QLED TV 75. Xiaomi's “Into the Future” event is scheduled to start at 12 pm later today. It will be live streamed on Xiaomi's website, YouTube and social channels.
Xiaomi has already launched the Mi 11 Ultra smartphone. The Mi 11X series is expected to feature rebranded versions of recent Xiaomi phones. As for the Mi QLED TV 75, this one too will debut in India. Mi 11 Ultra will most likely be the highlight of the event. It's expected to cost over ₹70,000 in India making it the most expensive Xiaomi phone in the country.
The smartphone stands out for its secondary 1.1-inch AMOLED Always On display at the back. This screen works as a viewfinder for the rear camera, and it also displays call notifications, time, battery level and more. Mi 11 Ultra also features a 6.81-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED display up front with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, and it packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging, 67W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging.
As for the Mi 11X series, Xiaomi is expected to launch two phones including Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro which will launch in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants, respectively. The two phones are said to be rebranded versions of the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro phones.
The Mi QLED TV 75 will be the biggest Xiaomi TV to launch in India. It will feature a QLED 75-inch screen with an almost bezel-less display. Mi QLED TV 75 is also expected to support 4K resolution, and feature Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR 10 and HLG.
