The OnePlus Nord CE 5 is expanding the Nord lineup with a strong mid-range offering focused on performance, battery life, and display quality. It sports a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,430 nits, ensuring smooth and vibrant visuals, especially for media consumption and gaming.

Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex chipset, paired with 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Users also benefit from microSD expansion support—an increasingly rare feature in this price segment. The chipset is supported by OnePlus’s CryoVelocity cooling system, which helps manage thermals during prolonged gaming or multitasking.

Camera duties are handled by a dual rear setup featuring a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The phone supports 4K video recording at 60fps. On the front, there’s a 16MP Sony IMX480 camera for selfies and video calls.

A major highlight is the massive 7,100mAh battery, among the largest in this category, paired with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. This allows for extended use without frequent recharges, making it ideal for power users.

The Nord CE 5 runs OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15, bringing a clean interface along with useful AI features like voice transcription, image editing, and smart gallery functions. OnePlus promises four years of Android updates and six years of security patches, adding long-term value.

Pricing starts at ₹26,999 for the base variant, going up to ₹28,999 for the top model. The phone will be available via Amazon India, OnePlus.com, and retail outlets starting 12 July 2025 with launch offers including ₹2,000 off on select bank cards.
