India is waiting with bated breath for more good news from ISRO about the amazing Aditya-L1 mission that is bound for a parking spot from where it can watch the Sun continuously. ISRO's Aditya-L1 spacecraft, is set to reach the Lagrange Point 1 (L1) by mid-January, 2024, said ISRO Chief S Somanath, according to a report by ANI. This mission aims to study the sun comprehensively and will be placed in a halo orbit around L1, which is located approximately 1.5 million kilometers from Earth in the direction of the sun. (ISRO)

Aditya-L1 Mission

The Aditya-L1 mission began its journey from Earth on September 2. It is expected to take approximately 110 days to reach the L1 point. This 110-day journey is a crucial part of the mission's timeline, and it is on track to meet the mid-January target. (ANI)
