![overview](https://images.hindustantimes.com/tech/static/revamp/images/png/ondc/overview-Icon.png)

- Poco X8 Pro Max Summary The POCO X8 Pro Max is built for extreme endurance and high-end gaming. It features a "minimalist" yet premium design with a high-strength metal frame and a unique racetrack-inspired camera module. The standout feature is its massive 9000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which POCO claims can provide up to 2 days of heavy usage. It is the global debut device for the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, aiming to provide flagship-level power for users who don't want to compromise on battery life or speed. Key FeaturesPerformance: Powered by the Dimensity 9500s (3nm) chipset, achieving an AnTuTu score of over 3 million. It includes a 3D IceLoop cooling system to prevent overheating during long gaming sessions.Battery Powerhouse: Features an industry-leading 8,500mAh battery with 100W HyperCharge (0 to 50% in ~24 mins) and 27W wired reverse charging for other devices.Display: A 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,500 nits, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.Cameras: Dual-camera setup with a 50MP main sensor (Light Fusion 600) with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. It supports 4K video at 60fps.Durability: Offers elite environmental protection with IP66, IP68, and IP69/69K ratings, making it resistant to dust, submersion, and high-pressure water jets.Software: Runs HyperOS 3.0 based on Android 16, with a promise of 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches. Pros & ConsProsUnbeatable Battery: Currently offers one of the largest batteries in a mainstream smartphone.Flagship Performance: The Dimensity 9500s delivers extremely high benchmarks for its price.Durability: The IP69K rating is rare and provides exceptional peace of mind.Display Quality: Extremely bright and clear panel, visible even in harsh sunlight.ConsWeight & Size: At 219g and with a 6.83-inch screen, it is a very large and heavy phone.Limited Camera Versatility: Lacks a dedicated telephoto/zoom lens, which some competitors offer at this price.Charging Speed: While 100W is fast, it still takes time to fill such a massive battery compared to smaller cells. Who Should Buy This?Heavy Gamers: Those who need sustained performance and a battery that won't die mid-session.Frequent Travelers: Ideal for users who spend long days away from chargers and need a reliable "all-weekend" phone.Performance Enthusiasts: Anyone looking for flagship processing power without the ₹1,00,000+ price tag.
