The Samsung Galaxy S25 is available at Rs. ₹80,999 for 12GB RAM and 256GB Storage variant, and for 12GB RAM and 512GB storage the device is priced at Rs. 92,999 respectively. The devices are available in three colour options: Icyblue, Silver Shadow, Navy and Mint. Samsung has introduced AI-driven enhancements in its latest One UI 7, built on Android 15. The Galaxy S25 features a range of Gemini-powered capabilities, including "AI agents" designed to optimise phone interactions. Users can now link multiple commands and app actions for smoother task execution. Gemini can also be accessed instantly by long-pressing the power button, and Samsung apps are receiving Gemini extensions to enhance functionality.
The update includes advanced photo editing features, such as "Generative Edit," which removes objects and their shadows. "Now Brief" delivers a daily summary, and Samsung Gallery now supports image searches using natural language. The on-device "Personal Data Engine" processes user data while maintaining security protocols, according to the company.
A new AI Select tool suggests relevant AI features based on-screen activity, such as writing assistance for summaries, spell-checking, or tone adjustments. On-device search now recognises specific queries, including locating a particular photo based on detailed descriptions. Voice-triggered tasks allow users to activate settings through spoken commands, such as enabling a blue light filter when mentioning eye strain.
Live Video provides real-time guidance by analysing ongoing activities, such as demonstrating baking techniques. The AI system also supports translations in 20 languages for both calls and in-person conversations, broadening its communication capabilities.
