Room for Improvement
Brightness While the panel is rated for 2600 nits, the new Privacy Display hardware layer can actually make the screen appear slightly dimmer than the S25 Ultra in real-world lab tests, especially at wider viewing angles.
Quick Charging Although upgraded to 60W, Samsung still trails significantly behind Chinese flagship rivals that have long surpassed 100W charging for similar battery capacities.
Is the Upgrade Really Worth It?
correct If you value the new Privacy Display for working in public, need the f/1.4 aperture for significantly better low-light photography, or simply want the first 60W charging speeds on a Galaxy. The performance jump from the Gen 5 chip is substantial for power users.
minus If you are perfectly happy with the S25 Ultra's ergonomics and display. Since the battery capacity and peak brightness remain effectively identical, the daily experience for most users will feel very similar.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra FAQs
It is fully customizable. You can set it to trigger automatically for specific apps (like banking or messaging) or toggle it manually from your Quick Settings/Power button.
It is a meaningful upgrade, capable of hitting a charge in about 30 minutes, significantly faster than the previous standard.
While Titanium is harder, Samsung’s use of high-grade Armor Aluminum combined with Gorilla Armor 2 glass ensures the device remains highly impact-resistant while offering a better "in-hand" feel and lower weight.
