Samsung launched their flagship smartphones Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in India on Tuesday. Priced at 48,900 and 56,900, the phones go on sale just a week after their international date of March 11. For now, you can book the Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge and receive a Gear VR headset as a token of appreciation.

The company however, did not mention the Gear 360 at the even and we expect it to launch much later in the year. For now, here is a breakdown of the Samsung flagship's stack up.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 with a 5.1-inch display costs 7,000 more than the Apple iPhone 6s with a 4.7-inch display. The Galaxy S7 Edge has a curved display that folds over the edges and costs as much as an Apple iPhone 6s Plus with the same screen size but lower resolution. However, the phones take the lead as the base models of the phones offer twice as much sorage as the iPhones'.
