While Steve Jobs had quashed rumors about Apple making a mini iPad, the tech world is abuzz with rumours that Apple will be bringing out a 7.85 inch iPad next year.
Rumours are afloat that the company is expected to launch a mini iPad in addition to the iPad 3, at the end of the first quarter.
According to DigiTimes, a Taiwanese tech site, 'Apple is prepping a pair of tablets, one with a traditional display, and another with a smaller, 7.85-inch screen.'
Apple has not always been in favour of mini iPads. In November 2010, Steve Jobs quashed rumors about Apple making an iPad with a screen less than a 10-inch diagonal, citing a lack of real estate for 'great' tablet apps.
However, with Jobs no longer on the scene, Apple might be treading new waters with a mini iPad.
