Amazon is hosting Great Foodie Fest in Bengaluru

The 10-day long food festival will begin on March 26 and it will go on until April 4.

Amazon is known for offering massive sales on its platform wherein it offers discounts on the purchase of various products from electronics to items of home decor. Today, the company announced the Great Foodie Fest.

The 10-day long food festival will begin on March 26 and it will go on until April 4. During the course of the food festival, customers in Bengaluru can enjoy deals and cashbacks on orders from popular restaurants and cloud kitchens around them with convenient doorstep delivery.

Additionally, customers in Bengaluru can take part in an inter-neighbourhood food face-off where they can enter by placing orders during the ongoing food fest. The company says that customers have been divided into five teams across Bangalore based on their location – North Bengaluru Bingers, East Bengaluru Belters, Central Bengaluru Crunchers, West Bengaluru Munchers and South Bengaluru Snackers. The neighbourhood team with the maximum number of orders at the end of the fest will win the face-off.

Amazon says that winners of the face-off will get an extra 10% cashback, while Prime members will get 15% cashback on every order they place over the next one month.

Additionally, customers will also get to hear the stories behind some of Bengaluru's most iconic dishes straight from the city's top chefs.
