Amazon has announced a bunch of new offers for book lovers ahead of World Book Day. As a part of the celebrations, the company has announced that it is offering 10 ebooks free to its users. The company today said that it is giving away translated books to encourage reading books from around the globe. This offer will be available starting April 13.
In celebration of World Book Day, Amazon is giving away translated books to encourage reading books from around the globe. These ebooks have been sourced from 10 different countries and translated into English to read. The list includes The Strange Journey of Alice Pendelbury by Marc Levy, A Single Swallow by Zhang Ling, The Broken Circle: A Memoir of Escaping Afghanistan by Enjeela Ahmadi-Miller, At the End of the Matinee by Keiichiro Hirano, You, Me, and the Colors of Life by Noa C Walker, The Son and Heir: A Memoir by Alexander Münninghoff, Amora: Stories by Natalia Borges Polesso, Some Days by María Wernicke, The King of Warsaw: A Novel by Szczepan Twardoch, and Return to the Enchanted Island: A Novel by Johary Ravaloson.
Apart from this, the e-retail giant announced that customers can avail two-month subscription of Kindle Unlimited for ₹129. Sans the offer, the Kindle Unlimited subscription costs ₹169 for a month in India.
Amazon India also announced that Prime members will get up to 80% off on two months of Kindle Unlimited subscription. As a part of the offer, Kindle Unlimited subscription will cost them just ₹99 per month as against ₹169 per month. Amazon also said that Prime members will also get access to hundreds of popular eBooks at no additional cost. Kindle users can also sign-up for a free 90-day trial of Audible.
The company also said that the 10th generation Kindle will be available for ₹7,999 and the 10th generation Kindle Paperwhite will be available for ₹12,999.
