Amazon’s Great Indian Festival to begin on October 17: Here are all the details

While the Great Indian Festival will begin on October 17, Prime members will get early access to all the deals and discounts starting October 16.

The festive season is here. Ahead of the festive season, Amazon India announced its annual Great Indian Festival. The Amazon Great Indian Festival will begin on October 17 and it will go on for almost a month during which time, the e-retailer will showcase products from lakhs of small and medium business enterprises including sellers from its Local Shops, Amazon Launchpad, Amazon Saheli, and Amazon Karigar programs among others.

While the Great Indian Festival will begin on October 17, Prime members will get early access to all the deals and discounts starting October 16. Apart from deals and discounts, Amazon India will be offering a 10% instant discount to customers who pay for their purchases using the HDFC Bank debit or credit cards. Additionally, the company will be offering a no-Cost EMI on credit and debit cards, exchange offers, and shopping rewards worth 10,000 on Amazon Pay. Customers will also be able to send gifts and shagun money with Amazon Pay during the company’s upcoming festive season.

Apart from these, Amazon India will be offering up to 80% off the purchase of fashion accessories, up to 13,000 off in exchange on the purchase of smartphones, up to 80% off on the purchase of kitchen and home products, up to 70% off on fitness trackers, up to 65% off on TVs and home appliances and up to 50% off on Amazon Echo devices including up to 50% off on Echo smart speakers, 40% off on smart displays and up to 40% off on smart displays.

“This year’s Great Indian Festival is an opportunity for our sellers and partners to reach millions of customers across the country. Our sellers are excited and expect this to help them in accelerating their business. For our customers, our aim is to help them find everything they need during the festive season and deliver it safely to them,” Manish Tiwary, Vice President, Amazon India said on the occasion.
